DANGEROUS PULTENEY RD CROSSING

There have been two accidents in the last two years at the Pulteney Rd crossing between Caroline Buildings and the Widcombe Junior and Infants schools. Fortunately neither of these accidents has resulted in injuries to adults or children. Nevertheless the crossing is viewed by local people as not as safe as it should be considering the purpose that it serves.

We the undersigned urge Bath and NE Somerset Council to make the road crossing between Caroline Buildings (Widcombe) and the Schools considerably safer than it currently is. Ideally we would like to see the introduction of a school hour 20 mph zone announced by means of flashing orange lights.
