The changes insisted upon by Gordon Brown's government have seen the A&E unit in Burnley closed and transferred to Blackburn.

Last year Gordon and the Liberal Democrats submitted a 101 page dossier listing complaints and problems the closure had created.

Labour Councillors on the County Council recently held a so-called inquiry - but refused to listen to any of the hundreds of complaints received by Gordon saying they were anecdotal.
“We want to see the return of the “blue light” service and other vital services at Burnley General Hospital.  We do not accept that these services can be provided at the Royal Blackburn Hospital.”
