It's every parent's worst nightmare - a badly burnt child being rushed to hospital.

Now imagine if your child couldn't go to Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool - and instead faced a painful hour long drive to Manchester?

The Labour Government's Health Authority wants to close down Alder Hey & Whiston Hospitals' acute burns units - making children and adults travel to Manchester for treatment.

The Liberal Democrats in Liverpool say this is wrong!

Prospective West Derby MP Cllr Paul Twigger said, "Making burnt children and adults travel an extra hour in pain is cruel, damages recovery chances and can even risk lives."

"Please sign our petition and together we can fight Labour's cruel cuts that will put the safety of our families at risk."
