Lewisham Council have announced that they will soon be consulting local residents about introducing a Controlled Parking Zone in our area.

Lee Green's Lib Dem Councillors agree that there is a problem with commuter parking in our area.  However, Lewisham Council only plan to offer residents one solution - an all day CPZ (9am until 7pm)

Your Councillors believe that residents should also be offered the option of a two hour restriction in the middle of the day - which would deter commuter parking, but cause less inconvenience for local residents.

Please sign our petition below to get a 'two hour' option included in the consultation.  The decision on whether or not to introduce a CPZ will be based in the results of the consultation - whatever your views, we hope you agree that residents should be given all the options.

Cllr Paul Bentley     Cllr Sven Griesenbeck    Cllr Brian Robson
Liberal Democrat Councillors for Lee Green Ward

We, the undersigned, call on Lewisham Council to offer a 'two hour option' in the forthcoming consultation on the proposed Hither Green East CPZ
