RESIDENTS are STILL waiting for progress to be made on the Epping Parking Review after the latest in a series of blunders by Conservative-controlled Essex County Council.

FIRSTLY the council started work on revisions to parking restrictions months later than scheduled.

THEN work was further delayed after officials wrongly measured the locations for hundreds of yards of yellow lines.

FINALLY the council advertised its proposed changes in the wrong newspaper, meaning that thousands of pounds may need to be spent to advertise the changes again.

Now work on the review has been frozen while the councillors in charge of the project decide what to do next.
