Local Liberal Democrats have reacted with shock and dismay at the reported plans to close several local Post Offices in Haringey. Those under threat are:

Weston Park
Ferme Park Road
Alexandra Park Road
Salisbury Road
West Green Road
Page Green Road
Highgate High Street

Hornsey and Wood Green MP Lynne Featherstone has vowed to fight the closure proposal and is today launching a petition to persuade the Post Office to stop the plans.

We demand that the Government listens to local people and keeps our Post Office open.
