The Labour council has imposed a temporary order forcing residents in Clare Lane to keep the new security gates at both ends of the street open during the day.  The Police have supported residents who want the gates kept closed. 

Liberal Democrats are now calling on the Council not to make permanent the decision to keep the gates open until a full review of the planning conditions has been carried out.
