Lewisham Council is wasting money on short-lived plants which don't provide food for honey-bees. Without bees we wouldn't have the thousands of trees and plants they pollinate, plus we'd be without much of the food on our plates - no more carrots, strawberries or apples! Please sign my petition which calls on Lewisham Council to plant honey-bee friendly plants in the Borough's numerous parks and green spaces. I'll be reporting back soon to let you know the progress of the campaign, and please get in touch if you would like to be sent a honey bee plant guide for your garden. Thank you.
