The campaign to tackle the menace of heavy lorries on our narrow roads and lanes

Heavy lorries using our narrow village lanes are a real menace.

They block the road, damage trees and verges, and increase the danger for pedestrians and walkers.

Jo White and the local Liberal Democrat team have launched 'Lorry Watch' to identify the lorries and companies that are using our narrow village lanes inappropriately.

"We're asking local residents to give us the details of lorries they see driving inappropriately or unsafely," said Jo White, Lib Dem Focus Editor.

"The local Liberal Democrat team will use this information to contact the companies involved and call on them to use more appropriate routes."

I/We are fed up with heavy lorries using the narrow roads and lanes through our village inappropriately.

Please use the comments box to give the name, registration number and the location of lorries you see using our narrow village lanes inappropriately.
