Many residents of Maesteg agree with me that over the years illegal parking and speeding traffic has got worse.

Current Home Office figures show that Labour has allowed the number of traffic wardens in South Wales to be cut from 109 in 1997 to just 77.

It is obvious that the current policing of illegal parking and traffic violations in Maesteg is ineffective. 

That is why local residents are joining in our campaign to get a full time designated traffic warden to police the streets of Maesteg effectivly to end the traffic chaos.
