Cut crime in Lewisham by abolishing ID cards

In the past year knife crime has risen 25% according to figures released by Lewisham Council. Statistics from the Metropolitan Police (available at maps.met.police.uk) reveal there were recently 770 violent crimes in a month across Lewisham.

We call on the government to abolish ID cards and instead use the money to pay for 10,000 more police on the beat.
