Background

3,000 Post Offices closed under the last Conservative Government.

4,000 have already closed under New Labour.

Now the Labour Government has decided that up to another 2,500 branches will close, including the branch at Loxley.

Only the Liberal Democrats have a fully-costed plan to save Britain's post offices.  A Liberal Democrat Government would invest an extra £2 billion in post office branches, continue to provide Government services in Post Offices, and free the Post Office from Royal Mail restrictions to allow it to develop new business.

Liberal Democrats across the country have successfully campaigned to save dozens of threatened Post Office branches.

Wadsley Bridge Post Office is at Wadsley Bridge Post Office, Law Brothers Garage, Leppings Lane, S6 1LR.
