Winsley needs its Post Office
The Nearby Store Group which owned the local village store in Winsley has gone into company administration, and the local shop has been put up for sale. This has forced the closure of Winsley Post Office on 12th December 2008.
Duncan Hames and the Liberal Democrats have listened to local residents who, having seen their post office close, want it back as soon as is practically possible. Duncan has written to Post Office Limited to ask them to work with any future owners of the local store to re-open Winsley's post office.
Now we need to demonstrate to these organisations how important having a post office is to local residents, and how valuable it is to the viability of the local shop. Please sign our petition below and help persuade the new owners of the local shop and Post Office Limited to bring back the Post Office to Winsley.

We, the undersigned, back Duncan Hames' campaign to bring the Post Office back to Winsley. We call on any future owners of the local shop and Post Office Limited to work together to make it happen.
